Groundhog Staten Island Chuck doesn't see shadow, predicts early spring

Staten Island Chuck sees his shadow at the Staten Island Groundhog Day Ceremony at the Staten Island Zoo.

Rejoice. Staten Island Chuck did not see his shadow.
The rodent prognosticated the early spring amidst yucks and pot-shots at Mayor De Blasio's past slippery fingers during the annual early morning event at Staten Island Zoo.
"The official announcement from Staten Island Chuck that Spring is Coming and we're going to have an early spring, just what we all deserve in the state of New York," said Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul, who presided over the event.
Punxsutawny Phil also predicted an early spring earlier this morning.
