Ever since it was announced last week
that American singer Jennifer Lopez will be performing in Israel in the
summer, pro-Palestinian activists have been flooding Twitter with
demands that she cancel her show. Twitter users even asserted that she
would be “entertaining baby killers” by performing in front of Israelis.

The successful singer Jennifer Lopez is caught in the middle of
a social media attack from pro-Palestinian activists who are demanding
that she cancel her scheduled performance in Israel. Mostly on Twitter,
these activists have been posting under the hashtag #CancerTelAviv, in
attempts to pressure her to cancel her upcoming performance in Israel.
Some social media users even attached harsh picture, which they
claim are from Gaza, that show Palestinians who were injured from IDF
operations. The activists claim that Lopez will be “entertaining baby
killers.”
Last week, Lopez agreed to perform in Israel in the summer but an official notice has not yet been released.
