An explosive new book claims Kim Kardashian’smother Kris Jenner brokered the release of her daughter’s infamous sex tape in the hopes of profiting from its release and catapulting her to fame.
Kardashian signed a deal with Vivid Entertainmentin 2007 to distribute her 2003 sex tape with Ray J, Ian Halperin’s new book, Kardashian Dynasty, alleges.
According to an “adult film industry” insider, “a mutual friend of Kim and Paris [Hilton] had advised her that if she wanted to achieve fame, a sex tape would be the way to go . . . Kim had discussed the idea of producing a tape with her familybeforehand.”
