Kanye West Pop-Up Shop Forces NYC Cops To Shut Down Block

NEW YORK, NY - Kanye West launched a pop-up shop in New York City yesterday (March 18) to release The Life of Pablo collection inspired by his latest album release.

TMZ reports that the line stretched across the block prompting police to close off the entire area. The shop will be open from yesterday (March 18) through tomorrow (March 20) at 83 Wooster in New York City.

Fans flooded the streets in SoHo in order to get a piece of the collection, which included shirts in memory of Kanye’s mother Donda Westm as well Kim Kardashian’s father Robert Kardashianm for $45.

The collection includes red and blue hoodies with the words “I Feel Like Pablo” for $95, burgundy bomber jackets for $350 and a $400 denim jacket which features the handwritten track listing for the album.

Other items available at the store are: beanie ($35), hat ($40), kids Ultra Light Beams long sleeve shirt ($40), Ultra Light Beams long sleeve shirt ($65), kids hoodie ($50), coaches jacket ($110), Season 1 and 2 zine ($200).

Most of the items feature the text “The Life of Pablo” in an old English script.

Customers must stick to a two-item limit.

In the past, Kanye West opened pop-up shops in various cities in order to promote his previous album Yeezus.

Across the country in Los Angeles, Life of Pablocontributor Future also opened a pop-up shop.
