635850725065286385-AP-2015-Power-105.1-s-PowerhouseIts been two years since the release of Kendrick Lamar‘s critically acclaimed debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city.

K-Dot partnered with helmsman Kahlil Joseph to bring the album to the big screen. It was shown at Sundance’s NEXT Festival in Los Angeles, as well as the L.A. Museum of Contemporary Art last year. However, it’s never been fully available to fans until today.
The 14-minute short film showcases archive footage of Kendrick as a youngster, and shows us what it’s like in Compton while the album plays in the background.
